If you use an iPhone, there are options available in your phone’s settings that can make it easier for you to read text and hear messages.

Adjusting Brightness

If you find that the screen on your phone is too bright, or not bright enough, you can follow these steps to find a brightness level that is appropriate for your eyesight:

  1. Click on the “Settings” icon

  2. Choose “Display & Brightness”

  3. Using the “Brightness” slider, choose a brightness level that suits you.

Adjusting Text Size

If you would like to increase the text size so that you can read your messages with ease, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the “Settings” icon

  2. Choose “Display & Brightness”

  3. Select “Text Size”

  4. Using the slider on the bottom, choose a text size that suits you.

Adjusting Volume on Phone Calls & Text Messages:

If you’re missing phone calls or texts because you don’t hear an alert, you can adjust the volume on your phone to make these more noticeable. Follow these steps to do so:

  1. Click on the “Settings” icon

  2. Choose “Sounds & Haptics”

  3. Change the Ringer and Alerts slider to a volume that suits you.

*You can also change the sound of Text Messages (see “Text Tone”) to make these alerts louder.*

We hope these options will allow you to use your iPhone more adeptly and efficiently!
